On Mission by Giving

23 Nov 2020

This is the time of year we are emphasizing the International Mission Board for our missions giving, prayer, and partnership. Will you pray for the IMB and give sacrificially so that more people can hear and respond to the gospel of Jesus Christ?

Please check out the below video for an example of why we are so passionate about supporting the “Lottie Moon Christmas Offering”…

As always, you can give to the IMB through our Lottie Moon Christmas Offering by giving in person on Sunday morning, sending your gift to the church office, or giving securely online. Thank you!

Giving More So More Can Go

If you have yet to do so during our Sunday morning worship services, would you consider giving sacrificially to the International Mission Board’s Lottie Moon Christmas Offering. We give so that more missionaries can go, and 100% of gifts given to this offering are used for sending and supporting missionaries serving in some of the most difficult places in the world – places that desperately need the gospel of Jesus Christ.

To see one example of how this offering helps to advance the gospel, please check out the below video.

If you have yet to do so, please consider supporting mission work in Missouri by giving sacrificially to the Rheubin L. South Missouri Missions Offering. Learn about one of the ministries you would be supporting by watching the video below.

Taking the gospel to people in their native language is not limited to just spoken words.  To many deaf children, the gospel is presented for the first time in a way they can understand.

As always, you can give in person on Sunday morning, mail your missions gift to our church office, or give online.

Schedule Update for Sunday

17 Oct 2020
0

Because of the high likelihood of rain, plans have changed for Sunday, October 18. We will have a catered meal at NOON (after the morning service), and – if weather permits – we will have some activities, like the hayride. No matter what, though, we will be having the catered meal (no need to bring any food) at noon.

Everyone is invited to join us, so please spread the word…

9:30 = Family Groups (aka Sunday School)
10:40 = Worship Celebration
12:00 pm = Catered Meal
Also, weather permitting, we will have some activities like a hayride.

Questions? Please let us know.

Fall Festival Is Sunday!

12 Oct 2020

Our annual Fall Festival is this coming Sunday, October 18th from 4-7 p.m. This event includes supper, live music, games for all ages, the bounce house, popcorn, a couple of bonfires, multiple hayrides, prizes, and more. Please invite family and friends for this exciting event for all ages.

Of course, we will be doing things a little differently this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, as we seek to be careful and allow for social distancing and proper safety measures.

Something folks in our church and in our community look forward to each year, though, the fall festival is a great opportunity to fellowship with others, make new friends, enjoy great food, and have a lot of fun. Because there is no set program, you can come and go as you please, but the music, games and activities will start at 4:00, with a COVID-cautious hayride (masks and distancing) at 4:15, supper around 5:00, and the last event of the evening, the family hayrides, starting around 6:00.

We hope to see you Sunday!

Please, though, continue to pray for a miraculous change in the weather for Sunday afternoon and evening. If the rain that is in the forecast right now does indeed come, we will adjust our plans and move the meal for the fall festival to NOON. A final decision will be made by Saturday evening, to allow for those readying the feast to be prepared.

Regardless, we hope to see you Sunday morning for Family Groups (9:30 a.m.) and our worship celebration (10:40 a.m.). Then, we will enjoy some delicious food together at one time or another on Sunday. Hopefully, though, we will also be able to have our other activities.

Youth Kickball Highlights

14 Sep 2020

Last Sunday, September 6, the Richland Youth participated in our association’s annual “Nightlight Kickball Tournament.” This event allows youth to invite their friends for some friendly competition and a worship service where God is honored and the gospel is preached.

Below are a few picture highlights from the evening.

James and Tammy (front row) and Parker (black mask) did a great job coaching our two teams, who each finished second in their respective brackets with only one loss each. More importantly, the kids had fun, invited friends, and heard the gospel.
