This past Sunday during our worship celebration, we had the privilege of hearing Tillie and Penni’s testimonies of Christian faith and celebrating their baptisms with them. You can listen to their testimonies and watch their baptisms below.
On Sunday morning, Pastor Nick Drake will begin a short new sermon series on how we can develop a heart of gratitude to God, which in turn leads to a generous lifestyle. Gratitude is not an occasional attitude for a follower of Jesus Christ but is rather an ongoing character trait.
Here is the plan for this series, as well as the preaching schedule for the next month:
Sunday, October 27 – Nick Preaching on “Gratitude Leads to God” (Luke 17:11-19)
Sunday, November 3 – Carson Humphreys Preaching
Sunday, November 10 – Rick Smith Preaching
Sunday, November 17 – Nick Preaching on “Gratitude Is Ongoing” (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18)
Sunday, November 24 – Nick Preaching on “Gratitude Leads to Giving” (Exodus 35:4-9; 36:1-7)
We hope you will join us, as always, on Sundays and Wednesdays. Click HERE to see our weekly schedule.
Please join us Saturday, September 7 (8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.) at First Baptist Church of Laddonia (301 Maple St, Laddonia, MO) for our Grand Crossings Baptist Association’s Annual Meeting and community worship service. This event is free and begins with breakfast and concludes with lunch. How can you possibly beat that?!
For more information, visit Grand Crossings Baptist Association, where you can also find information about our association’s potential merger with the Mid-Missouri Baptist Association.
As always, we hope you will join us every Sunday and Wednesday for our regularly scheduled services and activities.
During our Sunday morning worship service (10:40 – 11:45 a.m.), Pastor Nick will begin a new sermon series through the book of Malachi. Below are the probable messages Nick hopes to preach over the next couple of months.
Malachi 1:1-5 (“Great God of Love”)
Malachi 1:6-14 (“Great God of Worth”)
Malachi 2:1-9 (“Great God of Honor”)
