What are Richland’s worship services like?
The focus of our worship services is Jesus Christ and knowing Him more. We believe God’s Word, the Bible, is essential for knowing who He is and how we are to live. Thus, we seek to worship our Lord with biblical hymns and praise songs and seek to teach God’s Word accurately and relevantly. No matter your background, we want you to feel welcome and at home when you worship with us. All visitors are welcome!
What should I wear?
We have everything from t-shirts and shorts to suits and ties during Richland’s Sunday morning services. You are welcome to be as casual or as business professional as you would like. We believe what you wear is not of importance. What is important is that we meet together for encouragement, fellowship and worship in the body of Christ. No matter your fashion style, you are welcome to join us!
Do you offer anything for my children?
Richland Baptist Church loves children, and we love families. In fact, we believe families are important and used of God to grow us in our faith and draw us closer to Him. Children who are three years old and under are welcome in our nursery, and children ages four to kindergarten are welcome in Children’s Ministry during Sunday morning services. Because we value worshiping Jesus Christ together as a church family and together as individual families, we ask children who are first grade and above to stay with their parents or guardians during our worship services. Those who choose to keep their younger children with them, too, are always welcome to do so.
After our 5:45 Wednesday evening meal, which is open to all ages, we offer TeamKID for children and Richland Youth Group for junior high and high school students. These take place during the adults’ Bible study fellowship from 6:30 – 7:30.
